Oamaru travel broker Lynne Sinclair wins several awards
Travel Broker Oamaru’s Lynne Sinclair said she was “just a little overwhelmed” when she was called to the stage of the New Zealand Brokers conference awards on November 22, at Taupo, for winning the Qantas Award for most improved sales with Qantas, the QBE (travel insurance) Broker of the Year, and Go Holidays Broker of the Year.
From the 120 NZ Brokers nationwide, she was also in the top five for the most increased sales, in the top five for preferred supplier of the year and in the top 20 of high achiever awards, for 2015.

“No-one else got as many awards as I did which is pretty impressive for a small town like Oamaru.”
After working in the travel industry for 34 years, 20 or those working from home and the past five years working for NZ Travel Brokers, Sinclair has earned a reputable status.

Working from home made it possible for her to go out and move a break fence for stock and then go back to work, she said.
“When I’m not busy I will help out on the farm, but this year has been a bit different, I’ve been very busy.”
Go Holidays business development manager Jessica Skinner said it was great to so many awards go to a South Islander.
